20+ Years of Acne Scarring Improved in a Single Session with Aerolase Reverse

Our client is a woman in her 30s with a long history of cystic acne and acne scarring, including facial hyperpigmentation, texture concerns, and ice-pick type scars present for over 20 years. After an established patient-provider relationship gave her confidence in receiving safe, effective, and cost-conscious guidance, she chose the Aerolase Reverse procedure.


The Aerolase Reverse combines two complementary lasers. The Aerolase Neo works below the surface to reduce acne activity by targeting sebaceous glands and oil production. The Aerolase Era resurfaces the skin by treating the outer layers to improve pigmentation, texture, and scarring. The treatment was performed with the patient reclined, beginning with skin cleansing, followed by multiple passes of the Neo laser over each facial area, with added focus on areas of greatest concern. The Era laser was then used to resurface the skin, followed by an at-home treatment serum to support healing and optimize results.


After approximately one week, she experienced significant improvement in pigmentation and skin texture, along with reduced redness, improved vascular pigmentation, enhanced collagen support, and smaller-appearing pores. She was very pleased with the results and may choose to repeat the treatment as needed.

  • Do you take appointments in the evening?

    Yes. At The Rural Aesthetic in Carver, MN, we accommodate tailored scheduling requests, including evenings and off-hours appointments for clients who work during the day. Call or text us to find a time that works for your schedule.

  • Is the med spa family-friendly? Can I bring my kids?

  • What is the difference between the weight loss consultation and a regular aesthetic consultation?

    At The Rural Aesthetic, aesthetic consultations are always complimentary. The medical weight loss consultation is a $100 appointment because it is a full clinical evaluation, we review your medical history, medications, labs, and weight history, and build a prescription-based treatment plan. It is the same depth of care you would receive at a primary care office visit.
